Dead Links? Permissions?

Just wondering what's going on right now.
I tried going to my site and everything was practically dead, unless plaintext

I hopped onto the ftp and noticed the folder permissions on a lot of things were set off of "execute" I could manually get to a file through http by entering the full name of the file, but otherwise if I tried to get to it whether it just be a simple image on a web page, it would be dead returning a 404.

I know I loaded up a good sum of flash games today somewhere between 100-200 mb. Idk if this is "illegal activity" if so, I can fix that, but just talk with me here.

Otherwise this whole dead linking deal is weird... : (

Little Side Note while we're at it:
I still dont think I can log into the "manage my account" area


Edit: I'm throwing a 755 on the whole public html folder and sub folders of my site,
is this a bad idea?
It's going to take quite a long time, but I dont understand how this happened in the first place : \

but that's sorta the problem, it will only load things that are directly requested through the address bar, thus images wont even load because they weren't requested directly... It's weird.. : (

So if you request the main page you'll get the text and nothing else, unless hosted externally.

OK I'm currenly looking at the site right now and I see you are using joomla. Did you just transfer the site over? Sometime joomla has that problem. Try re uploading and dumping the database.

I never transferred the site, but joomla has the power to lock down the whole site? : \ that's weird, but I'm desperate and there's been a few things that had been screwed up so might as I'll try starting anewish.
